Ocmis Completes Commissioning at Wembley Park NE03

This week, Ocmis attended Wembley Park NE03 for the commissioning, handover, and training of the pond recirculation and aeration systems. The project, located just a short walk from Wembley Stadium and Wembley Way, demonstrates cutting-edge design and engineering excellence.

Ocmis was initially approached by Nathan Jackaman, then with White Horse Contractors, to create the M&E design for the pond system. Subsequently, we were appointed by John Sisk & Son Ltd for the supply and installation phase.

Key features of the pond system include:

  • Tiered reed beds providing filtration and natural water treatment.
  • Pumping systems and pipework for efficient water recirculation.
  • Automated level control and top-up system for optimal water management.
  • Underliner drainage to prevent hydrostatic pressure build-up beneath the liner.
  • An advanced subsurface diffused air aeration system.

The aeration system, which we collaborated with Heathland Group to deliver, was successfully commissioned this week.

We are excited to share that a case study on this project will be added to our website soon, with more photos to follow in Spring once the aquatic planting is established.

Stay tuned for updates!
